Cheshire Courthouse – Win Lunch and a Stay

A short while back I went to try out the amazing afternoon teas being served up at the Cheshire Courthouse, where I was blown away by the history and character of the building – you can read more about the afternoon tea here


Building on from the launch of the restaurant, The Courthouse celebrates its 200th anniversary this summer with the launch of the eagerly anticipated Rooftop Gardens. An area at the rear of the property has been transformed into a breathtaking terrace facing the setting sun, with enviable views across the picturesque town and the perfect Instagram backdrop.

Designed by owners, Dominic and Oliver Heywood, with furniture from Ikon Furniture in Manchester, the Rooftop Gardens will be an oasis of seasonal flowers, fragrant pots and plants.

There will also be a chef’s garden with specially selected botanical herbs for use in bespoke cocktails which will be served up at night on the Cocktail Terrace and in seasonal dishes served on the Sun Terrace by day..

The Terrace will be officially opened on the 28th July and will open from 11am until midnight, 7 days a week.

The summer will also sees the launch of the first bedrooms within this stunning building. 11 Individually designed rooms will open to begin with. The designs pointing to the historical past of this stunning building, rich with culture.
