Foundry Project, which is opening in place of Bluu, on High Street in the city’s Northern Quarter, has announced a partnership with local charity Forever Manchester.
As well as donating to the local charity, they have claimed to become the ‘happiest place in Manchester’. They will be making a donation to Forever Manchester from two of their signature dishes. Guests can enjoy their decadent Beer & Onion Burger and their gorgeous Spiced Lamb & Aubergine Pizza knowing that 50p will go directly to Forever Manchester and help fund community groups around Greater Manchester.
Forever Manchester is the only charity that raises money to fund and support community activity across Greater Manchester. They work with local people in our communities to inspire and encourage projects that make neighbourhoods happier and safer places to be. All the money raised for Forever Manchester is used to fund and support over 1,000 community projects in Greater Manchester every year.
Andrea Beckett, Brand Manager at Foundry Project commented:
“We’re totally committed to our new home in Manchester and we’re excited to be bringing Foundry Project to such an extraordinary city. We’re here to stay and so it’s important to us that we are invested in the community. We love Forever Manchester’s manifesto, it’s exactly what we want to be supporting – grass roots projects that really make a difference to the people of Manchester.”
Nick Massey, Chief Executive of Forever Manchester commented:
‘We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to be happy, so we’re really excited about our partnership with the happiest place in Manchester’.
Foundry Project is all about feeling good… It’s about inventive, high quality food and drink from breakfast through to late night cocktails, all in an environment that’s perfectly pitched for pleasure… whether that be a beautiful breakfast meeting or lounging on a Sunday, there’s always something good to eat and splendid to drink.
With sites in Harrogate and Edinburgh, Foundry Project Manchester is only the third in the country and it’s been designed especially with the country’s coolest city in mind.
Housed in the incredible, historic Old Smithfield Market the venue is undergoing a £500K transformation and will be open on the 23rd November.
Serving up delights like these, nobody needed an extra reason to check it out – but its always better when you know your helping out others as well.
Burgers are clearly the house speciality with a magnificent menu of buns to please all palates, plus there’s signature wood fired pizzas, an impressive Estrella beer tank, a range of grazing options, weekend brunches, and a cracking cocktail menu.
There’ll be regular get togethers and fun stuff at Foundry Project Manchester too, including their legendary pub quizzes hosted by a gang of local drag queens. The soundtrack will be provided by a regular flow of local DJs with Foundry Project residents taking over the decks alongside regular special guests, plus bottomless brunches and live music. It’s a place to unwind, lounge, laugh and dance… Welcome to the Northern Quarter’s newest, happiest hang out – there’s nothing to be Bluu about as Foundry Project is here to stay!
