The Year Ahead

Well here we are in 2019 and I would like to thank all the readers that have made 2018 a great success.

Over the last year the website has really started to take shape and I received a huge amount of support, from you the readers.

The 12 Gifts of Christmas Blog posts were hugely successful and again I have heard some great feedback from people who were inspired with gift ideas. Since then however, the last couple of weeks have been quiet, whilst I took a step back and also sorted out my own Christmas shopping.

But now in 2019 there is so much to look forward to, including monthly:-

Travel Features

Manchester Food Tourist will be publishing more of my travels – which kick off in just a few days time with a trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – This aims to look at a holiday alternative to the usual package tour to Cancun and surrounding areas.

Gin Features

Gin featured well in the last year, but following the feedback in this area, I have decided to dedicate one feature a month to a new or interesting gin.

Recipe Features

Another area which people have asked for more of, is home cooked food ideas. So I will be aiming to feature some great ingredients into some of my own home cooking.

Dining Out Features

What Manchester Food Tourist was all started for – the great places to eat in and around Manchester

So thank you again for helping to make Manchester Food Tourist a success in 2018 and here’s to an even better 2019

Lastly – if you have any suggestions for other features that you would like to see – or if you are a company or producer who would like to be featured, please do not hesitate to contact me at Manchester Food Tourist or Dan Doherty
