Luxury Lancashire hotel and Michelin star restaurant, Northcote, has announced a series of new dining offers this autumn. From five-star cuisine in the comfort of your home to an all-new gourmet menu that will inspire even the most skilled palate, Northcote delivers the most desirable culinary journey.
Autumn Gourmet Menu
Launching its new five-course Autumn Gourmet Menu this October, guests can discover the best that the Michelin-starred restaurant has to offer, complete with the epitome of fine dining, professional and warm Northern hospitality.
Developed by Executive Chef, Lisa Goodwin-Allen, the Autumn Gourmet Menu is available at dinner and lunch from 12 noon to 2:30pm, and incorporates four delightful savoury courses, including:
Squab Pigeon with Heirloom Beetroot and Aged Balsamic;
West Coast Scallop with Curried Pearls, Pomegranate, Almond and Coriander; North Sea Codwith Maitake and Ponzu; and
Scottish Venison Sausage, Damson, Butternut and Toasted Seeds.
The Orchard Apple ‘Pie’with Walnuts, Maple and Caramelised Milk marks the fifth and final course to perfectly conclude the menu, followed by freshly ground Colombian Huila and El Salvador Blend Coffee or a selection of Teas served with Petits Fours.
Priced at just £85 per person, the menu can also be paired with course-selected wine by the glass (£62 addition) as well as the addition of The Northcote Cheeseboard (£15 or £20 addition), comprising a selection of either five or seven cheeses from The Courtyard Dairy, served with Peter’s Yard Crackers and Homemade Bread.
Click & Collect and Home Delivery
Another new, is their ‘Click & Collect’ and Home Delivery experience, Northcote allows diners toexperience beautiful gourmet menus created by chef Lisa Goodwin-Allen in the comfort of their own homes. Using the finest seasonal ingredients, the dishes are lovingly prepared and packaged, complete with simple instructions for diners to simply finish off and enjoy at their own dinner tables.
Two gourmet boxes are available, each including the signature Northcote bread and six irresistible hand-crafted chocolates, designed to serve two. Choose from the four-course Autumn Gourmet Box, comprising two appetisers: North Sea Cod with Curry, Pomegranate and Almond and Coriander Sauce and Caramelised Celeriac Consommé, Tiny Raviolis with Celeriac Pearls and Tarragon. For the main course, delve into theTruffle and Brioche stuffed Roast Chicken, served with Leg Bolognese, Wild Mushrooms and Lyonnaise Potato before ending the evening on a sweet note with the Orchard Apple ‘Cheesecake’ and Salted Caramel Sauce.
The three-course Classic Gourmet Box starts the evening off with a Herb-Cured Salmon Gravlax with Pickled Cucumber, Horseradish Crème Fraiche and Burnt Lemon, followed by the mouth-watering Aged Beef Wellington layered with Mushroom Duxelle and wrapped in Pastry, served with Young Carrots, Potato Gratin, and Red Wine Sauce. The delectable Organic Lemon Meringue Pie comes ready-made for diners to slice, serve and enjoy.
Collection slots are limited to a total of 40 and are available on Thursdays and Fridays. Both gourmet boxes are also available for home delivery nationwide through the APC Network. The first orders fordelivery can be placed from Wednesday 21st October with deliveries arriving on Friday 30th October. Delivery dates will then be released on a rolling basis, eight days prior to the delivery date.
