Chotto Matte Manchester is launching ‘Chotto Hour’, a new elevated happy hour experience designed for after-work drinks and early evening socialising, starting Monday 2nd February.
Running Sunday–Thursday from 3pm–6pm, Chotto Hour takes place exclusively in Chotto Matte’s bar and lounge, pairing Nikkei-inspired small plates with signature cocktails, wines and premium drinks — all at reduced prices.

Cocktails from £8, wines from £5
Cocktails start from £8, featuring some of Chotto Matte’s most popular serves. Expect classics like the Pisco Sour and Negroni, alongside house favourites including the Yuzu Martini, Flor de Manzana, Lychee Martini, Aperol Spritz and a slick Espresso Martini.
Wine is equally tempting, with glasses from £5. Highlights include a crisp 2022 Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Sur Lie, the elegant 2024 Studio Rosé by Miraval, and a rich 2022 Organic Fairtrade Malbec. Prosecco and Chotto Matte IPAare also available.
Nikkei bites made for sharing
The food offering focuses on small, shareable plates inspired by Nikkei cuisine, with prices starting from £3 per dish. Options include:
- King Oyster Mushroom Tostadas
- Spicy Buttermilk Chicken Karaage
- Wagyu Brioche Sliders
- Avocado Nigiri
- Salmon Nigiri

Not drinking? Chotto Hour also includes thoughtful alcohol-free options, such as the Sakura No-Groni, made with Everleaf Mountain, lychee and cranberry.
