Product Review – Prestige Hampers

Yes I know its only September, and yes I know that its only just the end of summer..  but look around you, and you will already see the sights of Christmas popping up.

Shops are starting to move around their displays as the approach of October begins the ’12 weeks to Christmas’ count down.

If like me, you spend all year ignoring Christmas, until its December, and just a few weeks left to plan your gifts, then my 12 Gifts to Christmas Blog posts starting in a couple of weeks will be just for you – to start to get you focused.

One problem with buying gifts, is how do you know what they are going to want or like. So how about take that stress away and get somebody a gift that always shouts luxury.

Hampers are stocked by all the top retail names, usually boasting products from their own ranges, some good and some bad. However there is a different company that looks for products from a range of producers and therefore may also help to throw up a few unusual product surprises.

Prestige Hampers are a Cheshire based gift company that offer a wide range of hampers for all kinds of occasions, from sweet hampers to the most luxurious options, all with nationwide and next day delivery options available.

I received one of their new Christmas themed hampers which comes in a stunning wicker basket that really makes the gift look luxurious, with it stocked with some real food delights.

Three single serve bottles of Wine, all from different countries gave me the choice of Red, White or Rosemary.

I happily enjoyed the Red with one of my favourite chocolate brands, also included in the hamper – Willies Cacao.

Breakfast is taken care of with a luxurious marmalade with champagne, or a Scottish Three Berry Preserve on toast of course with a cup of tea, again supplied.

One of my other finds within the hamper was some Belgian Salted Caramel Thins, which I have to admit to keeping all to myself.

The new and interesting finds didn’t end there – the hamper also included Olive Biscuits – perfect for the preserves or with cheese, and some really tasty Yorkshire Crisps

Plus lets not forget that this is a Christmas Hamper, which of course wouldn’t be complete without a Christmas Pudding – I personally don’t like them, but what a great thing to re-gift 🙂

Hampers are never the cheapest option as a gift, and you could put them together cheaper yourself. However having a company find some great products, package them together in such a beautiful basket and send out to your loved one makes the added expense a little less of a problem.

I probably would never have bought half of the products that came with it, but to be honest, that’s one of the plus points, as now I have tried products that I wouldn’t have done otherwise – and that alone makes a gift more interesting.

The delivery and correspondence was also great, which explains why they have an excellent rating on Trust Pilot.

So if your starting to thing of gift ideas, for Christmas or for any other occasion, check them out.

Prestige Hampers send me a sample of a hamper to review and feedback, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
