MANCHESTER FOOD AND DRINK FESTIVAL LAUNCH BRAND NEW WINE AND FIZZ FESTIVAL

It wasn’t long ago that I was writing about some of the amazing food and drink based festivals set to return to Manchester this year.

Now the Manchester Food and Drink Festival have announced a brand new event for 2019 – and its one that I’m very excited about.

Manchester Cathedral is set to be the backdrop of a new wine and fizz festival, showcasing fantastic wines from around the world as well as some of Manchester’s most acclaimed wine experts and shops.

Set to cater to everyone from the fizz novice to the serious wine enthusiast, there will be a host of wines available to try as well as a host of entertainment, from live bands to artisan food.

The Festival will be split into four zones, including Croatian Fine Wines showcasing some wines from Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Macedonia. 3D wines will be showing off their wines from the likes of New Zealand, France and Italy and then there will be the People’s Choice Wine Awards, the fantastic awards that I was personally very privileged to help Judge, they will be bring along all the winning wines from the competition and boy can I assure you there are some stunners in there.

Attendees will get there own wine glass in which to try out the wines, they can then be purchased by glass or by bottle.

Tickets for the event are priced at just £15 and there are three sessions.

Friday 4th October – 6:30-9:30pm

Saturday 5th October – 1-4pm

Saturday 5th October – 6:30-9:30pm
