With an extraordinary 400-strong range to browse, Salut offers the most diverse and impressive range of wines in the city centre. The whole collection is hand-picked by the Salut team themselves – they work with an exceptional array of producers, suppliers and vineyards from around the globe.

Salut was set up by Sara Saunby, who travelled the world as a cabin crew member, and developed a love of wine, but was disappointed by the lack of inclusivity and service within the wine sector itself. Salut was born out of a desire to create a warm, welcoming and totally accessible wine experience – where guests can explore wine with zero intimidation.

Salut opened in 2014 as a wine merchants and bar, and have built up a loyal following and fan base in that time. The destination is known for great wines, a relaxed atmosphere, fantastic service and their large Enomatic wine dispensed range – meaning that customers can try an incredible range of wines before choosing either a glass or bottle.
The team at Salut are all passionate about wine and about Salut’s ethos in creating a friendly way to explore it. The whole team is involved in the curation of the Salut wine collection – tasting, trying and buying from some of the best suppliers and vineyards in the world to produce Salut’s ever-evolving wine list. This means that every team member has an unparalleled knowledge of the collection.

In the bar, the team serve charcuterie, cheeses and bread, all sourced from local suppliers like Holy Grain bakery and The Crafty Cheese Man, all chosen to perfectly complement the experience of enjoying a glass of wine.
