If your idea of the August Bank Holiday involves good food, plenty of cocktails and a soundtrack loud enough to carry you into the night, Sexy Fish Manchester has got quite the weekend planned.

The Spinningfields restaurant and bar is stretching its celebrations across the long weekend, with four days of food, free-flowing drinks, DJs, live musicians and performers — plus a few familiar Manchester names taking to the decks.

And, because apparently one bank holiday weekend isn’t enough time to fit it all in, the celebrations actually get started on Thursday evening.

Sexy Fish’s Bank Holiday celebrations start on Thursday

Things kick off on Thursday with Manchester DJ and nightlife favourite DJ Tango, who will be taking over the Sexy Fish soundtrack from 7.30pm until late.

Friday then ramps things up, with Millie Manning behind the decks from 7pm before saxophonist and performer DaxOnSax takes to the stage at 10.30pm.

Saturday looks set to be the big one, with entertainment beginning from 3pm with Leah Drew, followed by the return of DJ Tango. Later in the evening, DaxOnSax will perform alongside Kami Foxx, creating the sort of late-night party atmosphere Sexy Fish is rather known for.

The Bank Holiday weekend then winds down on Sunday, with music from 3pm until 12.30am, culminating in a set from Nazo Percussion.

Limitless Lunch returns for the long weekend

It’s not all about the music, though.

From Friday to Monday, 12pm–4pm, Sexy Fish will be serving its £48 per person Limitless Lunch, giving diners the chance to work their way through a selection of the restaurant’s signature dishes alongside free-flowing drinks.

Expect some of Sexy Fish’s familiar favourites, including Crispy Pink Shrimp, Spicy Tuna Maki and Salt & Pepper Squid.

If you fancy eating from the à la carte menu instead, there’s also a £29 free-flowing drinks package, available between 12pm and 4pm throughout the four-day weekend.

That’s potentially a very good excuse to make a long lunch last considerably longer than planned.

Sunday brunch gets the Bank Holiday treatment

Sunday brings another option with the restaurant’s Sexy Sunday Brunch, running from 12pm until 4.30pm.

For £48 per person, brunch includes limitless starters, a main course and dessert, alongside the option to add free-flowing beverages for £29 per person.

The drinks line-up includes Sexy Fish lager, white, rosé and red wine, as well as cocktails including the Apple Marg and Butterfly Gin Spritz.

And if it really is a celebration, there’s the option to upgrade to bubbles for an additional £10 per person.
