Manchester is never short of great food and drink, with events taking place all over the city throughout the year.

One of the biggest is the Manchester Food and Drink Festival, which has announced a new home.

Previously having graced the doorstep of the town hall on Albert Square, the organisers have decided to to move the iconic ‘Festival Hub’ to a new location at Cathedral Gardens, creating an entirely new experience for visitors.

This will be the 22nd Festival and the organisers are promising lots of new events alongside the old favourites, including demos, pop ups, guest chefs and banquets, all within this urban garden setting.

This years festival will take place from 26th September until the Gala Dinner Awards, which will take place at Gorton Monastery on the 7th October.
