Manchester’s independent wine specialists, Salut, have launched a wine tasting experience especially for Valentine’s Day, and it’s been created for single wine lovers who can’t be together with friends this February 14th.

After what has been an extraordinarily tough year for people living alone, Salut have created the box to celebrate not just romantic love, but love in all its forms, and it’s particularly geared towards those who live alone as it’s made up of half bottles rather than the traditional ‘couple-friendly’ 75mls vessels.

Salut’s “Half the Bottle, All the Bottle” Valentine’s Box contains six 37.5ml bottles of quality wines from around the world as well as tasting notes for each wine, and a link to an online tutored tasting video where the Salut team will guide customers through each glass.

It’s the perfect way to celebrate a virtual Valentine’s night with friends, as each pal can order the box to their home via Salut’s website, then get online on the night for a fun, relaxed wine tasting in the comfort of their own home. It certainly beats another Zoom quiz…

Sara Saunby, owner of Salut said:
“It’s been a really tough time for people living alone – especially since the latest lockdown. This box is for them. Using half bottles means you can watch our video with friends, and taste your way through a few of our favourite wines with less waste – it’s your very own personal wine tasting in the comfort of your own home for an alternative Valentine’s night with pals. We hope you enjoy – Salut!”
