MediaCity is getting a taste of Spain as El Gatito celebrates its upcoming opening with a free food and drink giveaway on Thursday 29th October.

The new neighbourhood bar and kitchen, from the team behind El Gato Negro, will be giving visitors a first taste of its Spanish-inspired menu ahead of its official opening on 6th November 2026.

From 11.30am to 1.30pm, visitors can pick up a free mega-loaded focaccia sandwich and freshly brewed coffee outside the venue. From 2pm until 5pm, the focus switches to sangria, cocktails and mini para picar – Spanish-style small bites perfect for sharing.

It’s a chance to sample what El Gatito has planned for MediaCity before the doors officially open, with loaded sandwiches, drinks and Mediterranean-inspired flavours on the menu.
