As previously mentioned, Festa Italiana is returning to Manchester’s Cathedral Gardens on the 13th-15th July. This year however, they are stepping it up a gear and are launching two FESTA FEASTS.

Marcello Distefano of San Carlo and Maurizio Cecco of Salvi

The first ‘feast’ will take place on Friday 13th July. Using the combined forces of Italian master’s Salvi’s, San Carlo and Lupo Cafe Italiano they will be looking to create an Italian banquet named ‘The Italian Adventure

Kicking it off with an Aperol Spritz, guests will then be treated to a four course dinner, designed to really highlight the finest of Italian ingredients. Each brand will showcase their own cuisine styles, with the guests hearing from each of them, talking them through their courses.

Also included on the evening will be the chance to try the beautiful Limoncello di Capri, as used in ‘The Capri Spritz’ the official drink of Festa Italiana.

All of the authentic Italian food and drink will be consumed in the company of a four piece band which is coming over from Naples, especially for the occasion.

The Italian Adventure starts at 7:30pm and tickets cost £45 with a donation going to the Cure for Florence campaign*

The next feast will take place on Sat 14th July and is named Buca’s Bottomless Banquet, where Buca di Pizza will be providing non stop gourmet pizza along with bottomless Prosecco!! (Beer and soft drinks will also be an option)

The all you can eat pizza and prosecco feast will take place over two 90 min sessions starting at either 6:30 or 8:30pm with both costing just £25.

*Florence, four years old, from Stalybridge, is a family friend of the Salvi’s team, and was diagnosed with GM1 in December 2016. The condition is life limiting and this diagnosis has turned the family’s life upside down. The donations will go towards funding further research into finding a cure for GM1, increasing awareness about this condition and giving Florence the best quality of life possible.
