The new menu includes a brand new Burger section. Six, all-new burgers that come served in a toasted bun and start at just £6.20

For the Vegans there is the Kernel Vegan, Turtle Bay’s first Vegan burger – sweetcorn patties are given a Caribbean twist with vibrant flavours and spices, roasted red peppers and sweet onion chutney.
Veggies and Cheese Lovers alike will be tempted by the ‘Hallo Halloumi’ which brings together a dreamy combo of grilled halloumi and succulent Portobello Mushroom.

Then there is my kind of Burger – The Smoking Goat Burger, which is the high street’s only goat burger. Goat is leaner than beef and has a beautiful delicate flavour, making for a tender and delicious burger, with a real taste of the Caribbean.

All burgers come on their own leaving guests to choose from the abundant new side plates and cutters, and customise their own bun for a bespoke burger experience, whether you choose the Cheesy Jerk Fries or the Coconut Rice and Peas, there is a side for everyone.

If Burgers are not your thing, then there is plenty more to choose from, Goat reappears in the form of a traditional Goat Curry or why not try King Prawn Curry. If these don’t sound your thing then lets not forget the usual’s of Steak, Pork Belly or Baby-back Ribs.

Desserts also get given the Caribbean works, with old favourites such as Salted Caramel Brownies, sitting alongside a Spiced Rum and Chocolate Pot.

Visits to Turtle Bay are completed with some great Cocktails with fitting names including the UB40 or the Buffalo Soldier. For me however it was the Jamaican Mule, a caribbean twist on this classic, using Rum instead of Vodka.

Service at Turtle Bay also had a real friendly vibe and we couldn’t have asked for more. With options also catering for children, this is somewhere you can visit day or night, week or weekends.
