Based in a stunning location in The Lakes, the Gilpin Hotel and Lake House also has two highly recommended restaurants attached, Gilpin Spice and the Michelin starred HRiSHi by Hrishikesh Desai.
Gilpin Hotel & Lake House has now also launched a new in-room spa experience specifically aimed at taking visitors on a bespoke sensory experience. Designed to gently stimulate and revive the senses, the Spa Suite Spa Trail will guide guests as they privately discover sights, sounds, smells, tastes and sensations, leading to the ultimate goal of deep relaxation.
Gilpin Spa Suites come with their own personal spa room, equipped with a steam room, tulipwood sauna, a tranquil treatment area with infrared massage bed, a stunning stone-built hot tub and a state-of-the-art Japanese massage chair.
The ‘Trail’ is designed to take guests on a journey around these facilities in a specific order to maximise enjoyment and contentment. As well as an in-room half hour massage, it also includes a Spa Goody Box designed with each part of the trail in mind; from nibbles to essential oils spa products, and the newest addition this summer is the delicious Bento Box for a light Japanese-style in-room lunch whilst enjoying the trail.
Gilpin’s Spa Suites start from £890 per night in summer / £670 per night in winter. Guests can dine at the Michelin starred HRiSHi restaurant, the hotel’s casual pan Asian restaurant,Gilpin Spice, in their Spa Suite, or, from Autumn 2022, at the new Lake House Grill Restaurant.
